Best Places To View Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Where is the best place to view Magic Kingdom firework?  This is a question I’m often asked.  Walt Disney World is famous for its nightly fireworks.  At the Magic Kingdom, the Wishes Fireworks Spectacular is a magical ending to a perfect day.  However, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with several thousand strangers, barely able to move is not quite as magical.  What should you do?  View the Magic Kingdom fireworks outside the Magic Kingdom!  Luckily, there are many excellent places to view the “Wishes” fireworks that offer a more relaxing atmosphere.  Here is the list of my favorite viewing locations for the “Wishes” fireworks show:

Contemporary Balconies:  There are balconies at the end of each floor of the Contemporary Resort where you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks in peace and comfort with an unobstructed view.

Polynesian Resort Beach:  Get there early and grab a hammock.  You can sway in the breeze while you watch the show.  The sound and narration is piped in!

California Grill:  This is a pricier option but definitely worth it when celebrating a special occasion.  Enjoy an amazing meal at this Signature Dining location and then step out onto the roof to enjoy the “Wishes” fireworks.  Plus, during your dinner, you have an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom and/or the surrounding resorts.  Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Next time you are ready to enjoy the “Wishes” fireworks at Walt Disney World, skip the crush in front of Cinderella’s Castle and try one of these great viewing locations outside the Magic Kingdom theme park.  You’ll be glad you did!

Do you have a favorite place to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom?  If yes, where? Need suggestions for viewing locations for other Walt Disney World fireworks shows or parades?  Just ask!
