One of the best things about living in Central Florida is the opportunity to do so many fun and different things without driving too far. This month, we’ve enjoyed the Florida winter weather and ventured out to check out some local sites.
Showcase of Citrus
Have you ever driven by a place and thought “I should go check that out!” but somehow never do??? That was our family with Showcase of Citrus. Despite friends raving about it, we never seemed to get over there. On a beautiful December day, we spent a few hours checking it out. First up was the World’s Largest 4×4 outdoor adventure – Monster Trucks exploring the property. It was amazing! I’m a huge wimp but this was a perfect adventure for me. Comfortable seating, beautiful landscape, feeding oranges to cows… yes cows apparently like oranges! Who knew? In addition to the adventure rides, they have wine tasting, farm animal petting and feeding, and a wonderful store that has all sorts of delicious and goodies.
