Each year AAA reviews nearly 30,000 restaurants, but just 0.2 percent make the AAA Five Diamond list. For 2015, only 59 restaurants were given the distinction of the AAA 5 Diamond Award. Victoria & Albert’s, located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, is among those 59. But the excitement doesn’t end there. Victoria & Albert’s find itself amongst the elite, receiving the AAA 5 Diamond Award 15 years in a row. Only 14 other restaurants in North America share this honor.
“The backbone of Victoria & Albert’s continues to be the wonderful, loyal culinarians, dedicated servers and devoted reservationists,” said Maître d’Hôtel Israel Perez, who has been with Victoria & Albert’s for 10 years. “They are the pillars that support our uncompromising commitment to greatness.”
Requirements for AAA Five-Diamond Award winners include imaginative and unique food, a restaurant that reflects luxury and sophistication and a maître d’ who leads staff to exceed expectations from patrons.
