There’s a new mac-and-cheese cook-off in town and it’s called O-Town Mac Down. This event will take place Saturday, August 23rd at the Orange County Convention Center and will benefit Give Kids the World. I seriously cannot wait to attend this event. Sampling mac ‘n cheese, all while benefiting Give Kids the World….I’m not sure it gets any better than that!
This years competiton will include home cooks, local non profit organizations, restaurants and professional chefs. The competition will be stiff, but YOU could be the champion. If you would like to enter this years challenge, visit the O-town Mac Down website.
Prizes will be awarded in various categories, and the event will include entertainment, cooking demonstrations, a performance by Tony Brent from the Outta Control Dinner Show, a kids’ fun zone (with a macaroni art station), theme park character meet-and-greets and vendor booths.
