Run or Dye, the world’s most colorful 5K, is coming to Orlando! This years Run or Dye event will take place on April 5, 2014 at the Osceola Heritage Park. Bring all your friends and run a color-blasted 5K, where you get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based cornstarch dye every kilometer. Then enjoy our world-famous Dye Festival afterward, where you can Tie-Dye the Sky (not to mention all your friends!) in this ultimate celebration of life, friendship, fitness, and fun. I’m happy to offer you the opportunity to SAVE $10 on your registration fee. Just enter code: BLOGORLANDO when you REGISTER.
Run or dye is for absolutely everyone! Whether you’re a recovering couch potato or an avid marathon runner, you’ll love the atmosphere and experience at Run or Dye. You’re welcome to walk, run, dance, or skip your way to the finish line. And Run or Dye is family-friendly — kids 6 and under participate for FREE and do not require registration! Run or Dye Orlando is excited to be partnering with Susan G. Komen Central Florida!
There are 3 simple rules to #RunOrDyeOrlando.
RULES TO DYE BY:
FIRST RULE: Don’t worry – be Happy! Run or Dye is for everyone. No need to worry about if you are too fast or slow, too old or young or too sexy! Just come experience the magic of the most colorful 5k this world has to offer!
SECOND RULE: You are your own canvas – Wearing all white may show off the color – or get costume-CRAZY wearing that old wedding dress, 80’s leg warmers – or those snakeskin pajamas. See you at the Starting Line!
LAST RULE: Get ready to DYE and go to Heaven! The Dye Zone is where the magic happens! Our Color Crew is specially trained to administer Random Acts of Color with total efficiency. (HINT: We also love subliminal messages such as: Begging & pleading, striking that pose that makes us all uncomfortable, or dancing like a maniac. These are all code for “HIT ME WITH COLOR!”)
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Run, Walk, or Skip – don’t miss Run or Dye! There is nothing quite like dusting your pals with that handful of purple goodness, or crossing the finish line into the Dye Zone wearing your Dye like a badge of honor! You just finished the Craziest Colored Course in history and accomplished something worthy of celebration: You have Dyed Running, and lived to tell the tale! (And you’ll have the crazy photos to prove it – and the memories to last a lifetime – or until next year!)
