Safari Ride and Hunting a Yeti!

The boys and I decided to make the drive down 417 to the parks yesterday.  We had planned on going to just Magic Kingdom, but after checking the wait times we decided we’d make a pit stop at Disney’s Animal Kingdom first.  The 3 of us were in the mood for a quick trek through the Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Lane and I felt we needed to go on Expedition Everest and pay a visit to our friend, the Yeti!

I had hoped our good friend (who I have yet to meet in person) Chris Lowry would be our Safari guide, but unfortunately he was not working.  I will say, all of his coworkers had great things to say about him, so we hope to have him as our guide in the very near future.

The boys and I arrived at Animal Kingdom at about 4:30pm.  We had a great time taking our time walking around the parks and just taking in the sights.  Below are our future pictures from our short visit at Animal Kingdom.
