I was able to take a quick trip to Downtown Disney today (12/4/13) to check out some of the construction. For those that do not know, Downtown Disney is being transformed into Disney Springs. This project will take a few years to complete and I look forward to sharing pictures of the progress. Hope you enjoy!
Look behind the trees in the above picture and you can see the beginnings of what I think will be the 5 story parking garage!
In the above picture, Capt Jack’s is no more…notice the large hole in the roof. The construction workers are tearing it down piece by piece. Oh and by the way, the pier is gone! Rumors are Disney Springs will have a new pier with boat rentals in another area. A new bridge is to be constructed in this area.

Finally…not one, but 2 Starbucks locations are coming to the new Disney Springs! Above picture is on the Westside and below is the World of Disney location.
