Mark your calendars for this Sunday, 9/14 from 6p-9p! Deli Fresh Threads is inviting Taking the Florida Plunge to it’s Monthly Sandwich Eat Up and this month is extra special. We’ll be dining at Orlando’s largest Food Truck Bazaar at Fashion Square Mall. I’ve been attending the monthly sandwich eat ups for many months now and it has given me the opportunity to meet some of the great people I now call friend.
For those not familiar with a Food Truck Bazaar it was created by Mark Baratelli who runs http://www.TheDailyCity.com/, Orlando’s city living guide.
If asked what a Food Truck Bazaar is like, Mark would say “Imagine a parking lot full of food trucks filled with delicious gourmet, ethnic, BBQ and desserts. (Bring your chairs so you have a place to sit!) Now, imagine the entire parking lot picking up and moving to a different city night after night: that is The Food Truck Bazaar! This event travels just like a food truck does!”
Here is What The Daily City says WHAT TO EXPECT:
1. Expect 10-15 trucks in each city 2. Rain or shine 3. Bring chairs and tables 4. To-Go orders are welcome 5. Feed picky kids prior to coming 6. All trucks take credit cards and cash 7. If yo have one ~ Wear your Deli Fresh Threads T-shirt (I’ll have mine on!)
At this event Anythony (aka. Biggie) Bencomo, owner of Deli Fresh Threads, will also be celebrating my birthday!
He will be bringing some tables and chairs, but please feel free to bring more tables and chairs for yourself and friends. The idea is to have #SandwichEatUp so eating a sandwich is highly encouraged.
