The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights Returns to Disney Hollywood Studios

For the past year, maybe even more, there were rumblings and rumors that The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights would not be returning to Disney Hollywood Studios.  Well, I’m happy to share with you that those rumors are false!

According to the Disney website, this holiday event will be as bright as ever with magnificent light displays twinkling and dancing to holiday music along Disney

Hollywood Studios Streets of America.  This winter event will take place November 7, 2014 through January 5, 2015 and the best part, there is no special ticket needed to enjoy this magical experience.

I’m sure everyone reading this is familiar with The Osborne Family of Spectacle of Dancing Lights, but for those of you that may not be let me tell you how it all began.  The Osborne family started decorating the outside of their home as a single house display in Arkansas.  Every year, the display at the Osborne home became more and more elaborate withe more lights and music.  In 1995, the Osborne family decided to share their love of of the holiday season with Walt Disney World and it was then that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights found it’s permanent residency at Walt Disney World.

I can say that our family LOVES this event and we will spend many of our winter evenings strolling the Streets of America.  While we look forward to sipping hot chocolate, dancing to the music and even seeing Santa Goofy…one of our favorite traditions is to always search out all of the Hidden Mickeys and of course we always have to find the Black Cat.  Honestly, I can’t wait!

Oh and one more thing!  Don’t forget your Glow with the Show Mickey Ears!  This is a great show to wear those ears as they become part of the show twinkling and dancing right along with the lights.

Will you be able to visit Disney Hollywood Studios this holiday season to view The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights?
