Two New Waterfront Restaurants Coming to Disney Springs in 2015

Two things I love…Food and The Food Network.  Today, Disney announced two new waterfront restaurants will be coming to Disney Springs in 2015, one of which will be from “Iron Chef” Masaharu Morimoto.

Both dining establishments will be located in the area once knows as Pleasure Island.

Morimoto Asia is set to open in Disney Springs during the summer of 2015.  This will be Chef Morimoto’s first Pan-Asian establishment and will include unique exhibition kitchens showcasing traditions like Peking duck carving, and dim sum.  Morimoto Asia will also feature waterside seating, terraces, a grand hall and a cocktail lounge.

The second dining experience announced today is The Boathouse.

Waterfront restaurants set for Disney Springs

The Boathouse is being described as an upscale, waterfront dining experience that will immerse guests both on land and on water. Guests will be able to take guided Amphicar rides that launch from land, and take guests on a 20-minute tour of the landmarks of Disney Springs.

Approved Rendering THE BOATHOUSE Waterfront View 1

The BOATHOUSE will open in the Spring of 2015 in Disney Springs. The restaurant’s gourmet menu will feature steaks, chops, seafood and a raw bar. The BOATHOUSE is the latest project of Schussler Creative, the creators of Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex and Yak & Yeti at the Walt Disney World Resort.
