Universal Orlando Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Tips And Tricks

Want to have the best possible Wizarding World of Harry Potter experience?  These tips will save you time and make your time in the Wizarding World truly magical!

• Wait until the afternoon to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  In the morning, hordes of excited fans head there first thing.  By the afternoon, those morning guests are moving on to other attractions and you’ll enjoy a much less crowded experience.

The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride does not accept the Universal Express Plus pass.  Use the single rider line to avoid a long wait.

Tour the castle without riding The Forbidden Journey.  Go to the cast member at the entrance and tell him or her you want to take the “castle tour” only.  You can walk through the castle at your own pace and enjoy all its wonders without being hurried along in line.

Most of the rides in the Wizarding World do not allow you to bring on bags. Store them in the lockers at the front of the “island” and pick them up on your way out.  You won’t have to fight the crowds at each ride.

Just want to purchase a wand?  Don’t wait in the Ollivander’s line!  Go into Owl Post through the front door or through Dervish & Banges.

• There is no soda in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  If you can’t live without one,  pick one up in Lost Continent or Jurassic Park before entering the Wizarding World.

• Dying for a butterbeer?  Buy it in the Three Broomsticks rather than the butterbeer barrel in Diagon Alley.   The wait is almost always shorter!

Visit the bathroom, whether or not you need the facilities.  Moaning Myrtle inhabits both restrooms!
